About this Program

This program is designed to equip trainers and educators with innovative active learning methodologies specifically tailored for Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) environments. Participants will learn how to shift from traditional teacher-centered instruction to learner-centered approaches that emphasize practical skills demonstration, competency mastery, and real-world application. The course covers various active learning strategies including problem-based learning, project-based learning, case studies, simulations, role-playing, peer teaching, and collaborative learning techniques. Special emphasis is placed on how to effectively implement these strategies within the CBET framework, assess competency achievement, and create engaging learning environments that promote active participation, critical thinking, and skill development. Participants will leave with a toolkit of practical activities and strategies ready for immediate classroom application.
